As the Head of Software Development at TalentGuard, Fernando leads the software engineering, quality assurance, and technical architecture teams, emphasizing innovation, efficiency, and scalability. He has played a pivotal role in introducing several new products and sophisticated algorithms to the Workforce Intelligence Platform, significantly enhancing the technology to accommodate hundreds of customers and thousands of users worldwide.
Before joining TalentGuard, Fernando gained substantial experience working on numerous government projects across Mexico, Central, and South America. His projects included developing identity verification systems for military and police use, crafting ID control software, and engineering driver’s license issuance solutions. He also spearheaded implementation of one of the first contactless payment systems in the region, built e-commerce applications for digital storefronts and developed programming systems for smart card chips.
Fernando holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. When not immersed in technology, he enjoys reading, competitive gaming, and exploring the vibrant streets of Mexico City with his dog.
