Information Security Analyst
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Information Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. This role involves implementing security measures to protect our information systems and networks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen our security posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to safeguard information systems and data.
- Implement and maintain security tools and technologies to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of information.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify and address potential security threats.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Operations: Knowledge of business processes and ability to carry out operations efficiently.
- Incident Response: Ability to respond to, investigate, and correct security breaches while preventing future incidents.
- Security Controls: Expertise in implementing and managing security controls to maintain system integrity and confidentiality.
- Vulnerability Management: Experience in identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing vulnerabilities in IT environments.
- Information Technology: Strong understanding of IT systems, software, and network security.
- Cybersecurity: Proficiency in protecting organizational data, applications, and IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Risk Analysis: Ability to assess and mitigate security risks associated with organizational assets.
- Project Management & Coordination: Skills in managing security initiatives and coordinating resources effectively.
Education & Certifications (Preferred):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or SSCP are a plus.
