Data Analyst

TalentGuard is looking for a motivated and analytical Data Analyst to support our Customer Success team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analysis, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor customer health, assist with onboarding, and provide actionable insights that drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Projects/Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer data to identify usage patterns and trends.
  • Support onboarding efforts and track customer milestones.
  • Develop and maintain customer health metrics and dashboards.
  • Assist with implementation reporting and monitoring project timelines.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Support teams to share insights that improve customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: No prior corporate experience required, but experience in any customer-facing or analytical role is a plus (e.g., military, volunteer, or freelance work).
  • Analytical Skills: Understanding of data analysis using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, or Tableau is highly valued.
  • Customer Focus: A genuine passion for understanding customer needs and improving their experience through data insights.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to learn how to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify patterns, trends, and issues in data and contribute to finding solutions that help improve customer experiences.
  • Project Management: Experience with managing tasks or projects (either personally or professionally) is a plus.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to focus on the details and ensure the accuracy of data and reports.
  • Collaboration: Comfort working as part of a team and collaborating with others across different functions.

Experience:

  • Familiarity with customer analytics or reporting tools, especially in SaaS environments.
  • Intermediate understanding of data processes and tools; prior experience is a must.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, TaskRay) or willingness to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage prospects effectively.

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED (required).
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred).
